The Saint Anthony in San Antonio

So, I had the privelege of staying at the St. Anthony in San Antonio last week!

It’s quite nice!  The lobby is very large with high ceilings and early 20th century woodwork.

It was decorated tastefully for the Holidays.  The Staff were very accommodating.  Do take note that parking is a bit of a hassle.  It’s best to let the Valet handle it.  It’s gonna cost you though.  Don’t worry if you don’t have cash to tip.  The electronic method to call for your vehicle is as simple as a text message about 10 minutes before you want your ride and you’ll be given the option to add a tip through the online interface.

The surrounding area has plenty to see and a stroll up the waterway is romantic in its own way and leads to shopping and restaurants.  We had snacks at Landry’s that were delicious!

A word to the wise, if you want the donuts from Voodoo Donuts, you need to bring a chair and get there early!  We walked past it about 7am on a Tuesday morning and there were a few dozen people in line already.

Can’t wait to head back to San Antonio sometime and check it out more!
